OK. Program the EDACS system into the bank first. Set the bank to ED
for EDACS. Enter the frequencies for the EDACS system, placing the EDACS
frequencies into the proper LCN location. Enter your EDACS talkgroups,
and make a mental note which talkgroups memories you will use for EDACS.
For example, we'll say the first 25 memories are for EDACS.

Exit the talkgroup programming mode and repeat the same procedure, but
this time set the bank to Motorola. Enter the frequencies for the
Motorola system AFTER the EDACS frequencies. Enter your Motorola
talkgroups after the EDACS talkgroups. Since we are using the first 25
talkgroup memories for EDACS systems, we will use memories 26 to 60 for
the Motorola system (how you divide the talkgroup memories is your
choice, I am just using these numbers as an example).

When you want to track the EDACS system, you change the bank to ED mode.
The scanner will lock onto the EDACS control channel and begin tracking
the system; talkgroup memories 1 through 25 will have your EDACS
talkgroups. Memories 26 to 60 will appear as unusual numbers, since they
were entered as Motorola talkgroups.

When you want to track the Motorola system, you change the bank to MO
mode. The scanner will lock onto the Motorola control channel and begin

numbers, since they were entered as EDACS talkgroups.

As a side note, this is one big disadvantage (to me) of the PRO-92 and
PRO-2067 - you have no banks of talkgroup memories, only one group of 100
memories (per trunking bank). The Uniden models (and PRO-93/2053) all
have banks, allowing you to designate (for example) banks 1 through 4 for
Fire/EMS and banks 5 through 9 are for Police, etc. Or more specifically
to what we are trying to do here, have banks 1 through 4 for the EDACS
system and banks 5 through 9 for the Motorola system.
