Beattie, Peter, Joseph, 55, of New York City passed away on October 7, 2015. Loving fiancé of Whitney Estelle McIvor. Beloved father of Michael Joseph and Sean Thomas Beattie. Dear brother of James Gordon Beattie, Jr and his wife Nancy Bajowski Beattie, Mary Anne (Meg) Beattie, and Nicholas Francis Beattie and his wife Margaret Evans Beattie. He was the Director of Cheese Operations for Fairway Markets and graduate of Xavier High School, New York, NY, Class of ‘79. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 8 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 9 AM. Interment Mt. Hebron Cemetery Montclair. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Xavier High School Scholarship Fund 30 W. 16th St New York, NY 10011, xavierhs.org.
