Hi Folks!
I want to thank everyone for their generous and thoughtful expressions of
condolence and love for our family during the past week.  It has been a
trying time, but we are doing what the Lord asks of us with a smile.

 

The trip to Annapolis on Friday morning (7:00 AM at St. John's) to Sunday
evening is near and several things need to be done.  

 

Confirming drivers

So far we have 

Mr. Jack Elder

Mr. Gordon Beattie

Mr. Hector Dube (Need to confirm)

Mr. Francis Argueta (Friday Night)

ANYONE ELSE?

 

Mr. Elder is taking Justin, and an unknown number of additional Scouts

I am taking Dino and Reinier

Hector will be taking Carmelo and an unknown number of additional Scouts.

Francis will be taking his son, Giancarlo, unless someone takes him during
the day and any Scout who cannot get an excused absence during Friday.

 

I am very concerned that the transportation is not finalized.  Mr. Gungil
was asking parents last week and did not get confirmations.  Scouts depend
on transportation and chaperones to make these awesome trips possible and
that involves time off from work and the sacrifices that come with that.

 

Mrs. Dewey has also reminded me that dues have not been paid by some Scouts
and that arrangements to resolve those challenges have not been made either.
Please see either Mrs. Dewey or me tomorrow.  She has the numbers.  I have
cc'd Jeanne separately, so that you can contact her directly to verify dues
status.  I can see what we can do if there are challenges.  Please see me at
the meeting or give me a call.

 

We are going to have an interesting meeting tomorrow, preparing for the trip
and also continuing work on the Eagle required Citizen and Communications
badges as well as Electricity, Electronics, Radio and Computer badges.
