[Troop139] Snow Clearing at St. John's

Hi Folks!
OK, we will probably have a minimal amount of snow to clear around 6:30 PM tonight.
We will likely need a couple of Scouts for this light work.  If you plan to come, please call me around 6:00 PM to determine whether you are needed.

Tomorrow will be a different story with all hands from the Troop needed sometime in the early to middle of the afternoon.   Stand by for specifics on tomorrow, but plan for transportation and getting your properties clear.

Here's a novel tip that I've used for years:


1.      Park your cars near the sidewalk facing out.

2.      Clear your walks and accesses to your driveways in small amounts as it snows

3.      When it comes time to get out, you simply clear a path out of the driveway and onto the road.

4.      When you are done at St. John's you come back home and THEN clear the last parts of your own household in one shot.
