[Troop139] Cathedral-Basilica Prayer Service and Awarding of the Ad Altare Dei and Pius XII Awards - Sunday, February 9th, 2014

Hi Folks!
Just a reminder that several of our Scouts will be receiving the Ad Altare
Dei or Pius XII awards next Sunday, February 9th at the Cathedral Basilica
in Newark.  All Scouts should be in FULL UNIFORM and in the Cathedral by
2:15 PM.  Families should plan to bring cameras and extended family members
to celebrate the work that these boys have done to explore the Sacraments or
to explore our Faith as adults.  

 

Our Ad Altare Dei recipients are:

1.      Kojo Acquaisie

2.      Giancarlo Argueta

3.      Carmelo Dube

4.      Justin Poquet

5.      Kevin Siebert

 

Our Pius XII recipients are:

1.      Kofi Acquaisie

2.      Reinier Carlos

3.      Joseph Daly

4.      Dino Landaverde

5.      Samuel Maldonado

6.      John Racanelli

7.      Sean Siebert

 

I would also like to thank Mr. Jon Siebert and Mrs. Nancy Beattie for their
work with the Scouts pursuing the Ad Altare Dei; and Mr. Jack Elder for his
assistance to me as we worked with the Scouts pursuing the Pius XII.    Our
next class will start in September, 2014 for presentation in February of
2015.

Directions to Sacred Heart Cathedral-Basilica in Newark.

Teaneck Rd.  South and turn LEFT onto Degraw Ave.  

Take the ramp for I-95 South and then follow onto the New Jersey Turnpike

Exit onto I-280 West and exit at Clifton St.  Turn RIGHT onto Clifton St. 

The Cathedral-Basilica will be a few blocks up on your LEFT.

Turn LEFT in front of the Cathedral-Basilica and then TURN RIGHT for the
parking lot on your LEFT.

Enter through the front door and BE ON TIME (2.15 PM)
