Hi Folks!
As many of our boys are now at Camp Turrell and many have returned from the
National Jamboree, we will have advancement and year planning to do this
month.

 

Meetings are as follows:

 

August 6 - no meeting.Scouts at Camp Turrell

 

August 13 - no Troop meeting.traditional week off after camp

 

August 20 - no Troop meeting.PARENT ONLY MEETING 7:00 PM - 

Please bring personal, school & activity calendars 

Plan to commit your son and yourself to a solid Patrol Method program

                        of MONTHLY camping trips, Patrol Leaders' Council
Meetings & activities

                        

August 27 - Troop meeting 7:00 PM.uniform inspection

attendance required for advancement completion & COH planning

 

September 3 - Troop Court of Honor (COH) & Pot Luck Supper 6:30 PM

 

This schedule will help us map out an effective leadership and outdoor
program and correct the gaps that have been emerging and expanding over the
last two years.  Your thoughtful engagement is requested.  

 

If you have any thoughts on how we can improve and align our program with
Scouting methods, goals and program elements, please give me a call to
discuss them in advance of the meeting so that we can be efficient and
exciting in our discussions on August 20.
