Hi Folks!
Here is the current six hour weather radar loop looking back six hours.

You can also get an updated loop as the day progresses by clicking on the
"LOOP" link on the right of the same line.
The link that I show above shows a northeasterly pattern of movement with
the cells are being directed northeast by the mountains of central
Pennsylvania and New York, possibly shielding us from some of the stormy
weather.
Not sure if this pattern will continue through the day, but I have taken
note that we are now expecting high 70's temperatures while only a few hours
ago, the expected high was forecast to be in the low 80's. This is a
stabilizing trend, which could be helpful.
Severe weather such as thunderstorms and high winds are generally driven by
colliding fronts with widely differing temperatures and humidity.
We'll see what happens as we continue to monitor these conditions.
