[Troop139] Carnival Food Logistics - 20120922 - LAST DAY!

Hi Folks!
Things have been rolling along very well this week.  Everybody has pitched
in and made things happen smoothly and with grace!

God bless you all!

 

The weather for today is going to be tricky, but rain or not, there are
things that must get done today, so please plan to come, even if the
Carnival encounters weather issues.  We are watching the weather radar quite
closely and will be making adjustments in line with conditions.

 

*        Tasks for today

 

1.	Lou is picking up some supplies at Stop & Shop

 

2.	Reina is getting the bread

 

3.	Cookie is picking up the donated food

 

4.	Roberto and Gordon will make sure that there is coffee for the
volunteers in the garage bay nearest the Giant Wheel.

 

5.	Gordon will get there about 1:00 PM or so to set things up and
organized.

 

6.	Demobilization Actions for Today

*        Jo Jo, Kim and Gurz are going to help with Demobilization 

*        We could use more assistance with this tonight to wash dishes and
tools

*        Shelter take down 

*        Clean up and packaging of the equipment. 

*        Stack tables and chairs in one garage bay or possibly move them to
Conlon Hall

*        We need to identify a space to store the supplies for next year's
Carnival 

*        Possibly move the material to storage tonight if we can identify a
spot

 

*	Post-Event Demobilization

*        Gordon will get Lou's grill back to him this week, possibly as
early as tomorrow.

*        Gordon will return the propane to Exxon this week.

*        Gordon will arrange for Carnival supplies to be stored.
