Hi Folks!
Next Saturday, December 1st, Troop 139 is hosting a Hamfest and Holiday Craft Fair/Flea Market in Conlon Hall starting at 7:00 AM.

For those who don't know the term, "hamfest", it is a flea market for Amateur Radio and electronics enthusiasts. It often includes technical sessions, show and tell, food, and licensing test sessions in addition to the flea market.

The Amateur Radio folks tend to be "early birds" chatting, buying and eating from about 7:00 AM to about 11:00 AM, while the craft/flea folks tend to come around 9:00 AM and drift off sometime between 2:00 and 3:00 PM.

It is a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping for both small family gifts and also to see some "techie" stuff.

We will have breakfast and lunch available, so come by and enjoy the day out!

Also, we will be having a radio demonstration starting about 10:30 AM in the front of the cafeteria in Conlon Hall.

Thanks & 73,

Gordon Beattie, W2TTT
