I pass this message along with great sadness.

Our longtime Volunteer Eagle Scout Coordinator Dan Caplan has passed away.

Dan, an Eagle Scout himself was a resident of Clifton and a longtime
volunteer in the Southern Valley District. He was a Vigil member in the
Order of the Arrow and had completed this Woodbadge training. He was a great
leader for hundreds of Eagle Scouts as he helped them with their paperwork
and approvals. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family.

Born in New York on Jun. 19, 1938

Departed on Nov. 4, 2012 and resided in Clifton, NJ.
