Today is the 48th anniversary of the death of Herbert Akerberg

Many believe he was the first to use Amateur Radio in Em-Comm. He is the
first according to news reports from 1913. 

It is a great piece on Amateur Radio History that needs to be remembered.

The irony is that the relief request message sent 99 years ago included all
the same things people need now.
