[Troop139] Troop 139 Family Supper Tuesday & March Trip Sign-up

Hi Folks!



This Tuesday is Shrove Tuesday, the day before the start of Lent on Ash
Wednesday.  

Our Troop meeting will feature a pancake supper for Scouts and their
families prepared by the boys.  

Please have your son arrive on time and ready to cook.  

 

Scouts and their families are encouraged to bring a small donation for the
needy that will be given to the Bergenfield food pantry at St. John's.

 

Mrs. Valencia and Mrs. Miller will be supervising this event, as I will be
away for corporate training, which has been taking up a lot of my time these
last few months.  

 

We also will be taking a trip to Rockefeller State Park in New York on March
2-4th and sign-ups for Scouts and adults chaperoning and driving will be
taken this week.  This trip will be focused on Scout skills, Leave No Trace
training and a small service project for the park.  The ranger in this park
is Troop 139 Eagle Scout Stephen Sciame who will be conducting the training
on his day off as a special gift to the Troop.

 

All Scouts and former Webelos are welcome to participate in our meetings and
on this trip.  If anyone needs gear, please let me know by next week and we
can get you what you need.
