[Troop139] Troop Meeting Tuesday

Hi Folks!



Just a reminder that we are meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 PM in the Lower
Church.  

 

Please in full Scout uniform and be on time as we have much to accomplish.  

We will start to resolve any advancement issues in the records, have patrol
elections, and clean up the Troop room.

 

We will be taking a roster of Scouts and parents who will be attending the
trip this weekend to Philadelphia.

We need drivers!  

 

Please be in St. John's parking lot at 6:30 AM on Saturday in full uniform
including your neckerchief.

 

You will need to PACK YOUR LUNCH for Saturday and have funds for any snacks
that you didn't bring from home.

 

On Saturday, we will be visiting Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell
before attending Mass that evening and barbecuing our supper.

Diana has arranged for a tenting overnight in a friend's back yard and we
will be cooking on a barbecue.  

We will need to figure out who is tenting and with whom.

 

On Sunday, we will be up early and back in downtown Philadelphia at KYW-TV
by 8:00 AM for an in-studio view of the Eagles pre-game show, a talk by
former N. Y. Giant and Eagle Scout Beasley Reece.  After that we will be
touring the technical facilities of KYW-TV including their newsgathering,
weather, news and editing departments.  

 

PLAN ON DOING YOUR HOMEWORK ON FRIDAY NIGHT or SUNDAY NIGHT as we will be
home at dinnertime on Sunday.
