[Troop139] FW: 3/11 Alpine / Rock Climbing

Hi Folks!

 

This weekend the Troop is camping at GNYC Camp Alpine on Rt. 9W.  

We will meet at St. John's at 6:00 PM, load up, check medical forms, make a
roster and go.

Scouts are to arrive in the parking lot in uniform and get out of their car
to help get the Troop moving. 

 

Dress for the weather, bring your personal gear, including Scout Handbook,
and be prepared for a whole lot of fun!  

We have scheduled Rock Climbing for the Scouts on Saturday as well as a host
of other fun advancement activities. 

 

Attached you will find copies of part A & B of the BSA medical forms.

Please note that only a parent signature is required.  

Please provide your completed AND SIGNED medical form when you arrive on
Friday night.   

 

NO SCOUT WILL BE ALLOWED TO ON THIS TRIP WITHOUT A COMPLETED AND SIGNED
MEDICAL FORM. 

There are no exceptions.  This is a GNYC requirement.  

 

We will be departing from Camp very early so that we can be back for 8:45 AM
CCD and 9:00 AM Mass.

Dismissal will be following the 9:00 AM Mass.

 

We will need  transportation to ensure smooth logistics each way.  Parents
who can drive, but not camp, should let us know of their availability.
