...additional light snow expected tonight...

.the low pressure system responsible for our wintry weather will
continue to move northeast across the mid atlantic states this
evening. meanwhile ...an upper level disturbance over the mid
mississippi valley region will sweep quickly southeast...passing
across the cumberland plateau and tennessee valley tonight.

this disturbance...plus lingering low level moist and cold air...
will create the potential for additional light snowfall overnight.

roads...bridges...and overpasses in the advisory area are slippery
and hazardous. snow covered roads have made travel treacherous.
exercise caution if travel is necessary and allow plenty of extra
time to reach your destination.

stay tuned to noaa weather radio...local radio...television...or
cable television for the latest updates concerning this developing
weather situation.

...snow advisory through early monday morning...

light snow showers will develop again this evening...possibly
producing from 1 to 2 inches of additional snowfall overnight.

stay tuned to this station for later statements and forecasts from
your national weather service.
