The person that sent the e-mail below to the aprssig reflector had his
vehicle stolen earlier in the week. He along with some help from others
deciphered the data from the APRS unit in his vehicle and evidently found
some of his gear.

Hmmmmmmm. Another possible good use for leaving a mobile APRS unit on when
in not so friendly territory.

Can't get into details, but there are three in jail, some of my stuff has
been recovered (but not the vehicle) and more warrants are to be served in
the next 24 hours.

It is a direct result of the one APRS hit.  When all the arrests are done,
and my Suburban declared lost or recovered I'll give you the exact details.

Dumb crook (what does this button do) + meth + APRSSIG = Go to jail.
