Rob / KV8P has announced he will be leading a Club Antenna Build at the July Meeting. The Antenna, a Tape Measure Yagi (2 Meter) is both effective and inexpensive to build. Used primarily for Fox Hunting this antenna can also be effective as a low power transmit antenna.
Rob has asked me to announce that there are still 2 kits available. 1 Standard Kit and 1 Deluxe kit. If your interested in purchasing one of the remaining Kits be sure to contact Rob/KV8P before Wednesday.
The build will take place at the TMRA July 2018 Business Meeting.

The next scheduled Fox Hunt will follow the July ARES Meeting.
It will start around 1030am. The rally point will be in the North East Parking Lot of St.Lukes Hospital in Maumee. There will be Elmers on Hand to help get you started. If this is your first Fox Hunt, we will team you up with an experienced Member to help guide you through the event. The Hunt is set up with a Net Control style station on the 147.270 Repeater (+600/103.5 PL) to guide general info and traffic. The Fox Station Transmits on 145.555 (Simplex, no offset or PL Tone) at variable power levels. Ron/N8RLH runs this event and makes sure its  fun  for both new and experienced Fox Hunters alike.
This will be an excellent chance to try out those new Tape Measure Antennas, that were built at the July TMRA meeting.
The Fox Hunt is held after the ARES Meeting and is open to ALL Radio Amateurs.
For more info on the Fox Hunt contact Ron/N8RLH by e-mail at n8rlh at arrl.net
