TMRA Members:
I am in need of volunteers to stand security watch at the doors for the hamfest on Saturday afternoon March 14th between the hours of 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM. That is a four hour watch. Vendors will be bringing in their stuff and setting up.
I am in need of volunteers to stand security watch at the doors on Sunday morning between the hours of 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM so vendors can bring their goods in and set up. This is a 3 and a half hour watch.
I am in need of volunteers to stand watch at the front doors of rec hall number 2 to check tickets of hamfest attendees who enter through those doors. I will need volunteers throughout the day from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM.This can be for as long as you like, preferably an hour at a time.
Please volunteer to help out with security. It takes a lot of effort to put on the hamfest and this event is probably the most important event to TMRA. It is your club and my club. We serve a purpose so let us make a go of it and make this another successful hamfest.
I thank you in advance for the time you give to make this hamfest a success for your club. We have been doing this hamfest for a long time.
I have been involved with the Hamfest committee for about 8 years. Other members have been involved much longer. I do not know anybody who can make the hamfest happen better than it has. If there is anybody that could, it would be you, those who are volunteering.
