[TMC] GPR-90 455KC IF coil

Duncan: I was catching up on the TMC files and read your IF can problem. I  
do not have a replacement can but if you find one here is how you adjust 
the can  without breaking it. I worked for TMC in Mamaroneck NY
in the production test dept and tuned lots of GPR 90's. We used a tool  
that you can make. We took a long handle 1/4 nut driver (Xcelite red handle) 
cut  off the plastic top just where the inside metal tube starts. The tube is 
hollow.  We then took a long  thin flat blade screw driver and inserted it 
down the  tube. We could now place the nut driver over the 1/4 inch nut on 
the can,  holding the IF can lock nut in position. Then inserted the 
screwdriver down the  nut driver shaft to adjust the screw on the IF can. A slight 
twist of the nut  driver loosened the IF can lock nut and we could adjust the 
coil without any  pressure on the can. When aligned a slight turn of the 
lock nut finished the  Adjustment, it  also stopped the screw from moving  when 
you locked  down on the nut preventing the adjustment from changing. I hope
