[TMC] TMC CV-1722 SSB Converter

I just acquired a nice TMC CV-1722 SSB Converter, serial no. 41.

Does anyone know the difference between this unit and the more common CV-591A?

Also, does anyone have a copy or know the whereabouts of the complete TMC technical manual for this unit that I can purchase?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
