This is from one of the copies i received a year or so ago when i bought 3 of the receivers and some of the tuning drawers. On page 1-2 it lists all the tuning drawers from the FFRD-1, 2, 3, 3M (500 kc), 5, 6, 7, and 8. It does, contrary to what i said earlier have the parts list for each drawer. Only the schematics for the 8-16 and 16-32 drawers are missing so i'm looking for nice clean copies of them.

Andy:
Without going to your web page and drawing the whole manual down, here's what i have.

Change NO. 1: Model FFR-3: 6/13/63

Adding a 100K (R151) to the bottom of R-100 and a .01 bypass cap to ground between them and changing the wording from "Cathode Bypass to Grid Decoupling".

Change NO. 2: Model FFR: Oct 4, 1963

Page 4-55: Change Y500 part no. from "CR-16/U" to "CR-18/U"

Change NO. 3: Model FFR: 12/11/63

Correct Schematic Diagram for Model FFR-3 as shown below.
Schematic and wiring changes to V-103, 6AL5 plate circuits.

Change NO. 4: Model FFR: 4/21/64

Variety of changes relating to Page 4-1, 4-13and 4-22. 3 pages total for this change.

Addendum #1:

Modification of Receiver Sub-Assembly R-5007/FFR-502 for Squelch Operation, 2 pages

Temporary correction to NAVSHIPS 92786A, 1 July 1960, TC-2 to technical Manual for Radio Receiving Set AN/FRR-49(V).

The purpose of this change is to bring the manual up to date and is Necessitated by the installation of the field change kit which this correction accompanies. 1 page designating component changes for C-119, C-134 and R-114 along with the insertion of CK-378, Schematic diagram (furnished) at rear of book.

T-3 to Navships 92786(A): 24 April 1961

Temporary correction T-3 to Technical Manual for Radio Receivers AN/FRR-49(V), AN/FRR-502

The purpose of this change is to provide a resistive load on the Audio Output transformer to prevent generation of Peak-voltage transients which could cause failure of capacitor C-127. 1 page

T-4 to Navships 92786A, March 1962:

Temporary correction T-4 to Technical Manual for Radio Receiving Set AN/FRR-49(V) Navships 92786A

Th purpose of this change is to incorporate a crystal oven on the 2-4, 4-8, 8-16 and 16-32 mc RF Tuners. 6 pages

T-5 to Navships 92786A, 17 July 1964:

The purpose of this change is to improve the dynamic range of the receiver, provide a low inpedance IF output, and provide a constant input impedance for the HFO injection Frequency. Changes tubes and adds a resistor of 50 ohms to the HFO injection line termination. 3 pages.

I be interested if anyone has any other information. Would be nice for everyone to have as much info as possible for their manuals.
