[TMC] TMC Big HV XFMR

Hi groups,

I have a large (around 12" x 12" x 14"), heavy (I can barely lift it), HV 
plate transformer from TMC.

Label is:          "The Technical Material Corp., Mamaroneck, New York, 
TF-193.  2800 VDC, 750 MADC."  It has dual 115 VAC 50-60 CPS primaries and shows 
hook ups for 115 or 230 VAC.

I thought I might build an HV supply with it but wonder what gear it was 
meant for and if anyone has a greater need for it than me.  Not sure I'd want to 
ship it and the cost would be high if I did.

Any ideas?
