[TheForge] New Doyle Anvil from Harbor Freight

While making my rounds,I stopped off to take a quick look at one of these.

My impression is that it would be more than adequate for someone just 
starting out.

This is on the theory that newbies are better served by spending their 
money of a few good books and travel to meet other smiths and play in 
the fire some with them.

Yes eventually it will get beat up and be to small. By that time if one 
has stuck with it they will have a network to source something better 
and have some idea of the type of smithing that appeals to them.

For my use it would make a decent light shop anvil in my sheet metal 
shop, or something to toss in the back of the truck for use on a job site.
