[TheForge] What (square) taper is an outdoor faucet stem?

Mike,
What you're missing is that I have either a corroded handle or a shank with
a build-in collar to work with. Can't really get accurate dimensions from
either. If there were a known taper to these things (like there is for
Morse tapers) it would make my life a good deal easier.
I probably will do an estimate like you suggest but it'll take luck to get
it right the first go.
