[TheForge] Quadstate last weekend

Hi from a long time lurker and wannabe smithy,

I have to agree with Mr. Frosty. Even though my leanings are apparently right in line with Bob’s, allowing such potential rancor into an otherwise dedicated forum simply adds murk to the water. At some point, it’s no longer fun to open messages because you can’t be sure it will actually be about the topic we love. Lord knows we get bombarded from all sides all day with politics, vaccines and the soon to come economic meltdown. Opening emails knowing they will be a positive respite from the nattering nabobs of negativity is a real joy, and are harder and harder to find.
As much as I believe Bob is dead-on societally, I much rather hear of his abilities and contributions with chunks of metal. :)

     Just my .02

Ed Eccleston

At one time it was THE go to for artistic metal working from scrap sculptures to very high end jewelry and everything in between. Unfortunately it officially changed it's policy and within ONE YEAR it was a desert with maybe a few posts a week instead of more than 50/day.
