If it can't be rebuilt don't screw around with trying to jury rig something. Take it to a competent dealer and they can probably match the numbers with an interchange manual and order one. Those hammers are finicky and persnickety on the best day. We took one apart and reassembled and it finally worked. They have all elements of a complicated machine and then some. You might find some information on your computer. rc

What's the issue rebuilding the one you have? It's not like they're complex, typically new seals and button em back up does the deed. Have you opened it and looked? Unless the cylinder is scored there isn't much to do, even if you have to glue your own Orings and cut gaskets. Even if the cylinder is scored you can rend a hone at most rental places in the automotive section.
Remember to keep the hone moving and lubed, diesel works a treat at carrying off cuttings and keeping the stones clear.

Running a hyd. cylinder is an option but you'll need to find one that mounts like your pneumatic cylinder does or modify what you find. The rod is on the retract side and it doesn't take up much area retract doesn't require much sq/in piston, it shouldn't be an issue, if it is a 10 psi bump in air is more than enough. It'll need a good oiler and perhaps suitable oil.
