It is my understanding that the pieces were made in China and shipped to
Dewitt, NE for final assembly before the Dewitt factory closed for good.
The Dewitt workers had a nickname for the tools that were made with Chinese
pieces. It rhymes with Vice Grip. I'll let you figure it out.
Dollar Tree sells locking pliers known as *Vice* Grips. Yep, you read that
correctly. They work pretty well on material, but are even better for
wresting wicked things.

Nope, nearly useless, they either don't grip or you can't get them loose.
The long jaw ones will hardly hold a book open.
The name rhyme is NOT, "Nice Grips."
