It is my understanding that the pieces were made in China and shipped to
Dewitt, NE for final assembly before the Dewitt factory closed for good.
The Dewitt workers had a nickname for the tools that were made with Chinese
pieces.  It rhymes with Vice Grip.  I'll let you figure it out.

Dollar Tree sells locking pliers known as *Vice* Grips. Yep, you read that
correctly. They work pretty well on material, but are even better for
wresting wicked things.
