Clarifications:

CYpermethrin and permethrin are similar but DIFFERENT chemical compounds.
Don't confuse them.

You don't >wash< your clothes in (0.5%) permethrin -- you dip or dunk them
in it, or spray it on, then let it dry completely (out of the sunlight).

I CHOOSE to wash my clothes after they dry on the off chance that there's
some permethin not bound to the fibers.  (Think:  belt and suspenders.)
