[TheForge] Titanium

The material used for implants is called CP Titanium (Commercially Pure) and is just that, not alloyed. It cannot be forge welded and once you cool the titanium, whatever shape it then holds, will be the shape it has forever. If they don't give you the "medical waste", contact me and I'll get you a piece near that size and you can pretend it was the original - I wont tell. It is pretty easy to forge, little or no scale forms and resistant to just about any corrodant. And yes, you can abrasive cut it. One cool thing is that once you get it ready "to wear", it can be carefully heated and takes on a rainbow of colors that will last quite a while.
Regards,
