yesterday and today are the anniversaries of two events that shaped the
future of world.

Yesterday, was the 100th anniversary of the Sinking of the RMS
Lusitania. The United States under President Woodrow Wilson, entered WWI
because of the sinking.

Today, is Victory in Europe 70th anniversary, the Day when Sir Winston
Churchill announced the end of the 6 years of war in Europe.

A moment of silence would be appropriate to remember all those killed,
civilian and military, in the WWI & WWII.

The winds of war are being fanned across the Middle East.
