I just skimmed through the Messer site and though I didn't find a reference
for MG750 rod, I liked the sound of the "Problem Solver" rod, the MG750 is
probably in the Problem Solver category.
Though they say they're a global country their "world" map doesn't include
Alaska. Not that I'm surprised nor really complaining mind. It's old news to
us. <grin>

Ya'll need to check out MG750 rods. Not as expensive, great for dissimilar
steels, NO pre/post heat. Been using them for years for mild hardy tangs to
tool steel, and anvil repair.
It's not firewood, it's a vaasse.
