Noted.  Will my local Praxair guy recognize "MG750"?

A local weldor friend consulted some of his colleagues and got back to
me by email just after I'd done the weld as recounted in my previous
post.

He recommended pre-heat and 8018 or 9018 rod.  I've never used either
of those.

We'll see.  If this afternoon's effort fails, I'll look at MG750, 8018
and 9018.
