Yep, they are clamping down in the UK with more rigorous 'check ins'
at the merchants these days as well.
The hot favorites over the last few years seem to have been lead
flashing from roofs (I've even seen it taken off of small domestic
road frontage properties!), and copper wires from the railways
(causing much disruption). Must come as a surprise when they realise
they have pulled up some fiber optics :-)
