Get goats.  Bed pen with hay.  Clean in  6 month intervals.  By the time 
you need to clean, the compressed, pee and poo-laden hay is rank.  It is 
heavy.  It is difficult to fork.  But when put into a pile and given a 
couple of months to cook, the result is truly nonpareil.  ANYTHING will 
grow in this.  Unfortunately, that includes the weeds, so you will be 
very busy cultivating.  This year I had three absolutely humongous 
Jimson weeds sprout from the potato beds.  They disgorged tens of 
thousands of scopolamine-laden seeds into ground.  Next year should be 
interesting.
