[TheForge] Question about metallic heat shield for wood stoves

  Andy,
  1. Allow air top and bottom .
2. Use TWO air spaces. (That is a front piece, reflector and an air 
space, another sheet of metal, and an air space. Each air space about 1" 
with perhaps some drywall against the wall.
  Convection will cool the air spaces. The more heat the more flow.
3. Minimize wall contact on the wall space when mounting. Mount beyond 
the hot zone from the heater.
