MAYBE NOT?! I don't even wear my tin foil hat when arc welding, the EMP
dewavefyies your brain every time you strike an arc. AC works best but even
DC does the trick. Where did you guys go to school, I thought everybody knew
this. Oh wait, the GVT brainwaves have put things in your head and wiped the
thoughts they don't want you thinking! Quick, wrap your welding cable around
your head, set the welder on AC and do some welding your brain REALLY needs
dewavefying!

Well, the Wikipedia article explains it better than I can. I got the gist
correct. You might have to ground your tin hat for it to be fully
effective, so if you feel silly dragging a ground wire around behind you, I
suggest you run one through your clothes to the bottom of each shoe, where
it won't be so obvious.
