[TheForge] winter storm and equipment

When I used to do snow removal, the contractor I used to work for and I
would start all the diesel trucks if the temp was to drop below 20 and
leave them running till needed (Blocked in the yard by gas trucks that
would start) , one year we burned out two starters and had engine damage to
a truck starting them in single digits. We ended up with one out of 4 big
trucks functional an a lot of repair work. Keeping them running or later we
ran a generator to power engine warmers (Water circulating type) proved
cheaper and more effective
