[TheForge] Damaged Fire extinguisher (was: Kaboom)

Charles,

Was that guy on theForge?  I thought he lurked on rec.crafts.metalworking
or some such group.

When he posted that message, somebody responded with "Karma!", and linked
to a message in which the same guy (?) recounted sabotaging a house he was
ordered by the divorce court to hand over to his ex.  By his own account,
he murdered that house -- leaving nothing unscathed -- without it showing a
mark.

My sympathies went to the second wife, who had to undergo critical brain
surgery (he said) after that damaged fire extinguisher smashed her skull in
the cab of that truck.  I don't mind when somebody kills himself in a
really stupid way, but I pity the poor bystanders.  If his tale be true, I
have to give him credit for getting her to the ER fast enough to save her
life, though.

... Of course the one I sympathized with I think was one of our own on the
forge.  He picked up a big fire extinguisher that fell off a truck and put
it in the cab of his truck.  The valve assembly let loose and went through
his wife's jaw as he pulled back on the road.
