I have been forging different bronzes that of course have differing forging heat ranges.
So i got one with a wider temp range, thinking it would help with that..
But it’s sometimes slow to read, which doesn’t work with smaller pieces that cool quickly.
Also, differing levels of surface oxides seem to confuse it…
And it keeps changing it’s digital mind.
It did better when i was keeping track of interpass temperatures and carbon steel tempering.
