[TheForge] Advice on making a side blower forge with a wood or metal box.

We have a wooden side blower forge at Century Village in NE Ohio and only had a clay lining in it.  It wasn't very deep either.  The hardest part using this forge was having to clean the ash out by hand.  We have since modified it with an ash drop.
