To automatically remove message and the … in Gmail:

Go to settings ( the Gear Icon) right side of screen

Select "Settings"

Scroll down to Signature

Select Radio Button to Add a Signature Block
 
You need to enter Something ( I added:  Original Email Deleted)  You can't leave it blank I tried and it doesn't work.

below this text box click the check box on "Insert this signature before quoted text in replies and remove the "--" line that precedes it."

scroll to bottom and click on: Save Changes

Now when you send a reply the . . .  will be  gone and the email isn't included   instead your signature:  Original Email Deleted   will be in it place
