I was trying to find replacement brushes for my obsolete Foredom flex shaft and the company says, "we can't remember that far back".
"Wanna buy a new one, or 2, or 2 crates? ? "
Shiiiiiip!
Now, back when the promise of search engines was being touted about..I thought...Hah!
It'll be easy from now on!!!
Wrong.
Why can't i enter a part name, manufacturer, model number, etc...and get the usual 10 pages of links?
WTF?
We know damn well that the brass gear in a 1903 Champion forge blower has about the same spec
as some gear offered by International Gear Anon Corp in Hong Kong.
Why won't Google admit it?
Their web spiders were there and scanned all those parts spec lists.
This aspect has been a real disappointment for me in the modern era.

Yaaaa...OK, there's no money in dealing with fools like me, but...

Any suggestions as to a technically/industrially oriented search service?
