[TheForge] Tiger blower?

Texas size mud dauber- We blew it out with air- From a distance it looks
a bit like a Canady-Otto which is, I think, simpler than a Champion 400.
If the gears are good, bushings should be fairly easy. Roger finally got
it moving but it is still stiff so maybe a lot of cranking with a lot of
oil will improve performance. I've never seen inside a Tiger blower but
it is mounted on 4 legs like the Champion 400. There is some info on
Google but it will take some time to find specific info on the gear
system if it exists. The big gear in the champ is brass and one I had
was badly worn and the shaft bearings in the rear of the shaft were
shot. Beware when buying- If it doesn't run smoothly and quietly, I'll
pass.

Take a high pressure washer to it while rattling it back and forth.
Works better if you can get the cover off the gears. They're usually
jammed by hornet/mouse? nests or pebbles dropped in by children, dirt,
sad etc. from years of laying there in the weather. Sometimes a good
hosing out and fresh oil is all it takes.
