Think outside the box, Andy.  Put in a cable tow.  A used diesel, some
fittings, a reversible winch, a few yards of concrete at both ends.
Put the cable in a loop so it's controlled both ways.

Around here, the soil holds an enormous amount of water when wet,
freezes that way and just changes to sink-out-of-sight gloop in the
spring. It's only been a decade or so since they upgraded our road
enough that a car (or even a 1-ton) wouldn't sink right down to the
frame in some spots in mud time.
