The warm weather is working and we can see some of the ground again.

I'm in the middle of a self dig cellar too.  I've been at it for 8 years 
though I didn't work on it the last two years. Just too much paying work to 
take time off to dig.  I can't imagin digging the whole thing and then 
pouring the wall.  I've been pouring the cellar wall in 6 foot sections as I 
get each section done. So far I have one bed room and half the kitchen done, 
this gives me access to my kitchen plumbing which was my main goal. I was 
able to rerout the gray water drain and insulate the pipes.  We have not had 
frozen pipes for 3 years so it has helped.

Our short edriveway can be a pill.  The longer one is a lot easier
unless it is wet in which case no 4WD system you care to name will get
you safely through it.  Pavement to be the next priority after the
cellar is done... and maybe the greenhouse.
