[TheForge] No idea too hare-brained

I'll check mine with a magnet to see whether they are steel or plastic. 
They say steel toe, but that may just be genaric for hard toe. It may not 
make a difference, I can't get in there to remove them without some special 
tooling.

Most newer boots actually have plastic caps.
Harder to bend.
