I have a section of C channel that is a snug fit on my anvil face. I welded a stub that fits the hardy between the legs of the c channel and use it for a cutoff table, and those cases when I need a sharp corner as well. It is pretty handy. I welded the stub to the far side of it so that any heavy blows fall on the center of the anvil rather than the tail. Charles
