Way cool for sure....Y'know Bruce, to get the full comic-kenetic effect,
One would really want to use a (Dupont linkage?) type hammer,
like a Little Giant with no safety shield....
I suppose it'd be pretty funny with an 2 piece hammer with only the anvil portion on springs, though.
There have been commercial forging hammers that used opposed moving heads.
