[TheForge] Anyone tried to cut 24 gage brass sheet?

This stuff is hard as woodpecker lips- and it is folded- the 5.25 idea
will work but it may require heating to unfold- maybe that will soften
it enough to cut. I'll pump up the compressor and give it a shot. This
brass is to be used as a guard for a fencing foil-(or a fancy hot dog
skewer). Once round it will be worked concave in a swage block with a
planishing hammer made from a round head railroad track connector
bolt...

I have one very similar to the pexto. It leaves a slight dimple at the
center and a very slight burr. All in all I use it if I need 3 or more
circles. Fewer and I am good to go with a scribe and a pair of aviation
snips. Just cut squares 5.25 or so center the scribe at 5 and cut it
out.
